Coach Evans is a former field hockey player at West Chester University, where she helped lead her team to two national championships. She currently teaches Health and Physical Education at Lionville Middle School.
Coach Evans is entering her fourth year as the Head Varsity Field Hockey Coach at Downingtown East High School. Prior to that, she served as the Head Varsity Field Hockey Coach at Henderson High School for four years. In addition to her high school coaching experience, Coach Evans has spent more than 11 years coaching at the club and national levels with X-Calibur Field Hockey Club and the USA Field Hockey program.
Coach Evans and her husband, Sean, a high school boys lacrosse coach, are the proud parents of two sons, Colby and Grayson. As a family, they enjoy spending time at the beach, staying active outdoors, working out, and cheering on their favorite sports teams.
Coach Paige is a former Downingtown East field hockey player and STEM Academy alumni. She continued her field hockey career at West Chester University where she made two National Championship tournament appearances and earned three PSAC conference selections and three All-American titles.
Coach Paige is starting her second year at Downingtown East as the Assistant Varsity Coach. She began playing field hockey in elementary school, and played club for WC Eagles.
Coach Paige graduated with a degree in nutrition and is working on her Master’s in the field. She loves to travel, be outdoors, and spend time with her family.
Coach Graham brings 15 years of playing experience and 2 years of coaching experience to the program. Having played field hockey at the high school, club, and college level, she is passionate about helping student-athletes develop their skills, confidence, and love for the game. Coach Graham graduated from West Chester University this past May, with a Bachelor’s degree in Communications.
Coach Graham also played field hockey at WCU, where she helped lead the team to 2 Final Four appearances in her 4 years.
Outside of field hockey, Coach Graham enjoys working out, spending time with friends and family, and being anywhere where there is sun and a beach. A fun fact about Coach Graham is that she has been traveling since she was 2 years old. Coach Graham is very excited to be part of the program and looks forward to supporting the team's growth and success this season.
Coach Gianna played at the collegiate level at West Chester University and brings 15 years of playing experience along with a passion for developing young athletes. In addition to her playing background, she has coached at college summer camps, youth leagues, and youth camps, helping players build skills and confidence both on and off the field.
Gianna grew up playing alongside her sister in both high school and college, an experience that helped shape her love for the game.
Outside of coaching, she enjoys spending time with dogs, being outdoors, reading, and going to the beach.
Coach Meyers' passion for field hockey developed through his daughter Harper's love of the game. Since 2021, he has been actively involved in youth field hockey, coaching with both Norchester and LYA programs while helping young athletes develop their skills and confidence. He continues to coach a variety of teams in local tournaments and has spent the past two years assisting with coaching and officiating through the QP Field Hockey Company.
In addition to his field hockey experience, Coach Meyers brings a strong and diverse high school coaching background. He has accumulated 10 years of experience coaching high school baseball and 7 years coaching girls' basketball. He is now entering his second year as a coach with the Downingtown East Field Hockey program.
Coach Miller is a volunteer assistant coach for Downingtown East Field Hockey. She graduated from West Chester University in 2023 where she played club field hockey. Last year, she was the JV coach and she volunteered for the 2024 season as well. Coach Miller is also a Spanish teacher at Downingtown East and enjoys teaching the 9th and 10th graders.
When she’s not at school, she enjoys running, hiking and playing rec field hockey with her friends. She also loves traveling and shopping when she gets the chance to.
